Exam Week Reset Plan

Exam week does not need to become a panic week. Use this plan to replace cramming with short review cycles, practice-test feedback, and a calmer home routine.

7 Days Before

List tested units, gather past quizzes, and identify the three weakest topics.

5 Days Before

Complete one mixed practice set and correct every missed question with notes.

3 Days Before

Run a timed mini-test and write a short error pattern summary.

1 Day Before

Review formulas, vocabulary, or key methods. Stop heavy studying early enough to sleep.

Test Morning

Eat, hydrate, arrive early, and start with the questions that build momentum.

What Parents Can Do

  • Ask what the plan is, not whether they studied enough.
  • Keep the last evening calm and predictable.
  • Praise specific process choices, such as correcting mistakes or using a timed practice set.
  • Avoid adding brand-new topics the night before the test.

Tutoring Use Case

If the student keeps missing the same question type, use tutoring time for error pattern analysis and timed practice rather than broad review. The fastest gains usually come from fixing repeatable mistakes.
